Red Lobia Bean Curry
Ingredients
- 1 cup red lobia beans
- 2 onions
- 2 tomatoes
- A few garlic cloves
- Ginger
- Oil or ghee
- Salt
- Turmeric powder
- Coriander powder
- Garam masala
- Fresh coriander leaves
- Green chillies
Preparation
Soak 1 cup of red lobia beans overnight.
Chop 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, a few garlic cloves, and ginger.
Take oil or ghee in a pressure cooker and add chopped garlic and ginger.
Cook for a few minutes and then add onions and tomatoes.
Cook at low heat for about 20 minutes.
Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.
Cook until the mixture becomes mushy.
Add the soaked lobia along with the water in which it was soaked.
Bring to a boil and pressure cook for 25 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies.
