Tall Stack of Chocolate Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup plant-based milk (soy used)
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Take a medium size bowl and add flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, salt, cacao powder; mix well.
Pour soy milk and vanilla extract into the mixture and whisk well until a smooth batter forms.
Scoop the batter onto the skillet to form small pancakes (about 3 inches wide or preferred size). Flip when bubbles form on top after 2-3 minutes, and cook the other side until browned.
Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, chocolate sauce, and fresh fruits.
