Tall Stack of Chocolate Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup plant-based milk (soy used)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Take a medium size bowl and add flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, salt, cacao powder; mix well.

  2. Pour soy milk and vanilla extract into the mixture and whisk well until a smooth batter forms.

  3. Scoop the batter onto the skillet to form small pancakes (about 3 inches wide or preferred size). Flip when bubbles form on top after 2-3 minutes, and cook the other side until browned.

  4. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup, chocolate sauce, and fresh fruits.
