Spicy Buffalo Chicken Burgers & Baked Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Sprinkle of salt and pepper
  • Olive oil (for cooking)
  • Regular potatoes (for fries)
  • Salt and pepper (for fries)
  • Dipping sauces: ketchup, BBQ sauce, salad dressing

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, diced red onion, chopped spinach, hot sauce, nutritional yeast or Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

  3. Form the mixture into burger patties.

  4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  5. Cook the burger patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and nicely browned.

  6. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the fries. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  7. Cut the regular potatoes into fries or wedges.

  8. In a bowl, coat the potato pieces with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  9. Spread the coated potato pieces on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  10. Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.

  11. Serve the buffalo chicken burgers on buns with your choice of toppings.

  12. Serve the baked fries alongside the burgers.

  13. Offer dipping sauces like ketchup, BBQ sauce, and salad dressing for added flavor.
