Chocolate-Covered Dates

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 tablespoon refined coconut oil (you can use unrefined if you do not mind coconut taste)
  • 25 pitted dates
  • chopped walnuts

Preparation

  1. Combine chocolate and coconut oil and melt in microwave or stove top until it is smooth

  2. While it is hot, dip each date in chocolate and place on a baking tray with parchment paper

  3. Repeat process

  4. Top with walnuts or other toppings desired

  5. Coconut flakes, chia seeds, seeds, etc

  6. Keep frozen

  7. Ready to eat in 20 minutes

  8. Do not remove from freezer unless ready to eat

  9. Enjoy!
