Easy No-Bake Snickers-Style Dessert Slice

Ingredients

Base

  • 1.5 cups dates
  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons cacao

Peanut caramel

  • 2 cups dates
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • salt (to taste)

Topping

  • 1 block dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Line a 20x20 cm baking tray with baking paper.

  2. Cover the dates for the base with boiling water to soften, then drain them.

  3. Blend the softened dates with almonds, rolled oats, and cacao, spread the mixture in the tray, and freeze for at least 30 minutes.

  4. Cover the dates for the peanut caramel with boiling water to soften, then drain them.

  5. Blend the softened dates with peanut butter, non-dairy milk, melted coconut oil, and salt, spread over the frozen base layer, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  6. Melt the dark chocolate on the stove or in the microwave.

  7. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut caramel layer and freeze until solid, at least 30 minutes.

  8. Slice the set mixture into pieces and serve.
