Gluten-Free Tahini Molasses Oatmeal Cookies with Chocolate Chips

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 oz dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds

Preparation

  1. Mix everything together and let it sit for 10 minutes to thicken.

  2. Scoop out the batter for 6 cookies, flatten them slightly and sprinkle a few sesame seeds on top if desired for more sesame flavor.

  3. Bake in a 350F oven for 12 minutes; they will be slightly underbaked in the center but this keeps them chewy in the middle.
