Quick Pickled Onions with Dill and Spices
Ingredients
- 1 lb red onions, sliced
- 2 c key lime juice OR sour orange juice OR Ume Plum Brine OR a mixture of all three
- 1 tbs dill seed
- 1 tbs coriander
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp carraway seeds
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 Tb sea salt
Preparation
Combine all ingredients.
Allow them to infuse for an hour in the fridge or at room temperature.
Enjoy on tacos, salads, or falafel.
Store in the fridge; it keeps for a few days.
Note: Coriander may not be suitable if following a strict Dr. Sebi diet.
