Sunday Lunch Grilled Cheese Kale Toasties
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter (I used dairy-free butter)
- 2 cups kale stems
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (I used vegan cheese)
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
Preparation
Steam kale stems for 5 minutes.
Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add bread slices and top two of the slices with kale and cheese.
Cook for a couple of minutes until cheese is starting to melt.
Flip another two pieces of bread on top and continue to cook for another 30 seconds until cheese is melted.
Serve right away and enjoy.
