Homemade Vegan Chocolate Banana Wraps

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups roasted hazelnuts
  • 30-45 ml hazelnut milk
  • cacao powder to taste
  • 200 g dates
  • pinch of salt
  • vanilla extract to taste
  • whole wheat wraps
  • ripe banana or strawberry

Preparation

  1. Roast hazelnuts in the oven at 180°C for around 15 minutes.

  2. Blend the roasted hazelnuts with a pinch of salt, a bit of vanilla extract, hazelnut milk, cacao powder, and dates in a high-speed blender until you achieve the desired consistency. Use more liquid or hazelnut milk for a smoother texture, or water from soaked dates instead of milk if preferred.

  3. Spread the vegan Nutella mixture on whole wheat wraps.

  4. Slice a ripe banana or strawberry and place it in the middle of the wrap.

  5. Roll up the wrap and cut it into bite-sized rolls.

  6. Enjoy the treat, and feel free to add more ingredients to enhance flavor.
