Choc Chip Black Bean Brownie Birthday Cake

Ingredients

  • recipe-can be halved
  • oven 175c - fan
  • 2/3 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 c sweet spelt flour
  • 1/2 c raw cacao powder
  • 1/3 c pure maple syrup
  • 1/3 c rice malt syrup
  • 4 tbls coconut sugar
  • 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbls apple sauce
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 400g Tin coconut cream
  • Take out of fridge and scoop the cream into a mixing bowl DON’T add any of the liquid
  • Add a drizzle of pure vanilla extract and whisk on high for Aprox 30 secs or until it becomes a whip
  • Spread over brownie
  • Was fruits, slice strawberries and decorate

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients EXCEPT choc chips into a food processor and combine well

  2. Add choc chips and stir (saving some for placing on top too)

  3. Place into a lined baking tin (26 x16cm) smooth over..and place choc chips on top

  4. Place into oven and bake for aprox 20 mins or until knife comes out clean when tested

  5. Allow to cool for 5 mins before turning out onto wire rack

  6. Allow to cool completely
