Raw Chocolate Treat for Valentine's Day
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cacao butter
- 1 cup raw cacao powder
- 4 T raw agave nectar
- 1 T maca powder, optional
- 1 T vanilla powder, optional
Preparation
Chop the cacao butter into similar sized chunks and re-measure to ensure it is one cup.
Place the cacao butter in a double boiler or small pot and warm on the lowest heat possible without boiling.
Stir gently until the cacao butter is just melted, then remove from heat.
Whisk in the cacao powder, agave nectar, and optional maca and vanilla powders until well combined and no lumps remain.
Pour the mixture into silicone or candy molds; if no molds are available, use lined muffin tins, a parchment-lined cookie sheet, or dip fruit into it.
Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.
