Creamy Matcha White Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oat milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate (such as Lily's Sweets)
  • 1 tablespoon matcha (e.g., Pique Tea)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Whipped cream for topping (e.g., Reddi-wip coconut milk)

Preparation

  1. Heat the oat milk in a pot over medium heat on the stove.

  2. Add the white chocolate to the milk and whisk continuously until it melts and combines.

  3. Stir in the maple syrup and matcha powder until well blended.

  4. Continue to whisk the mixture until it's smooth and creamy.

  5. Pour the matcha white hot chocolate into serving cups.

  6. Top each cup with a dollop of coconut milk whipped cream.
