🌱Two Shades of Green Spirulina Chia Pudding🌱

Ingredients

  • 2 cups organic unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbs maple syrup
  • Pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 2 scoops of collagen or protein powder
  • 1/2 cup prebiotic chia seeds
  • 1 packet light green Spirulina (for "sea salt" layer)
  • 1 packet dark green Spirulina (for "ocean mist" layer)

Preparation

  1. In a blender, combine almond milk, maple syrup, salt, and optional protein powder/collagen. Blend until well combined.

  2. Add chia seeds and pulse gently, pulsing every 1-2 minutes until the pudding thickens and seeds are evenly distributed (about 3-4 pulses).

  3. Mix the first packet of light green Spirulina into half of the chia pudding, and transfer to a mason jar.

  4. Add the second packet of dark green Spirulina and pulse 2 times. Transfer this dark spirulina chia pudding to another jar and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.

  5. When ready, create a marbled effect by layering the two shades of chia pudding. Top with almond milk froth.
