Refreshing Non-Alcoholic Coconut Mojito

Ingredients

  • 1/2 organic lime
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 40 ml non-alcoholic rum alternative (optional, e.g., Captain Morgan Spiced Gold 0.0%)
  • 30 ml coconut milk
  • 100 ml tonic water (or alternatively soda or sparkling water)
  • small ice cubes or crushed ice to fill the glass
  • mint for garnishing

Preparation

  1. Wash the lime well, halve it, and cut the used half into four pieces. Place the pieces in a glass and sprinkle the sugar over them.

  2. Add the mint leaves and muddle them with a muddler.

  3. Pour the rum over it if using; it can also be done without.

  4. Add the coconut milk and stir with a bar spoon.

  5. Add crushed ice to the glass, filling only up to about 2/3.

  6. Top with tonic water and stir again with a long spoon.

  7. Serve garnished with mint.

  1. This drink brings summer flavors to your glass even when it's not sunny outside.
