Chocolaty and This Cacao Granola
Ingredients
- 3 cups whole oats
- 1 cup coconut
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs
- 1/2 cup cashews, hazelnuts or other gluten free nuts
- 2 tbspn coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon gf cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
- roughly chop nuts.
Preparation
Roughly chop nuts
Put cacao nibs in a small blender to finely chop
Heat together coconut oil, honey, cocoa powder, cacao nibs and cinnamon
Spread granola and nuts over a baking sheet and pour the hot syrup over and combine well
Heat oven to 325°F and bake for about 15- 20 mins or until adequately toasted
