Quick Homemade Instant Porridge
Ingredients
- 2/3 Cup fine oats
- 1 teaspoon coconut sugar or xylitol
- 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
- Optional: dried fruits & nuts for extra taste
- Toppings: sliced banana, nuts, etc.
Preparation
Take a jar (500ml capacity) or a pot with an airtight lid.
Transfer all the ingredients - oats, coconut sugar or xylitol, cinnamon, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and optional dried fruits & nuts - into the jar or pot.
Close the jar or pot with the airtight lid.
When you're ready to eat, open the lid of the jar.
Add 200 ml of boiling water and about 2 tablespoons of milk to the jar.
Mix the ingredients properly.
Close the lid and let it sit for 1-2 minutes.
Open the lid again and add sliced banana and a sprinkle of nuts, or your preferred toppings.
