Spiced Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of cardamom
- pinch of clove
- 1-2 cracks of fresh white cracked pepper
- 1-2 tsp brown sugar (optional)
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 a banana sliced or mashed
- 1/4 cup brewed black tea
- 1 cup almond milk
Preparation
Add all your ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a low simmer
Allow to cook and thicken as desired, about 3-5 minutes
Remove from heat and stir well again then serve topped as desired. I used caramelized banana, blueberries, peanut butter and an extra splash of almond milk.
