Spiced Oatmeal


  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of cardamom
  • pinch of clove
  • 1-2 cracks of fresh white cracked pepper
  • 1-2 tsp brown sugar (optional)
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 a banana sliced or mashed
  • 1/4 cup brewed black tea
  • 1 cup almond milk


  1. Add all your ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a low simmer

  2. Allow to cook and thicken as desired, about 3-5 minutes

  3. Remove from heat and stir well again then serve topped as desired. I used caramelized banana, blueberries, peanut butter and an extra splash of almond milk.
