Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 a spotty banana
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk, slightly thick
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar/raw sugar
- butter or coconut oil to cook as needed.
- strawberries as needed
- chocolate sauce as needed
Preparation
Add oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar in a mixer/blender and powder this is into a flour
Now add banana, buttermilk and vanilla extract to the mixer jar and blend this along with the oat flour into a smooth batter
Add a few tablespoons more buttermilk if the batter becomes too thick
Now spoon 2 tablespoons of batter on to a hot griddle, cook it on low heat flipping both sides using butter/coconut oil
Serve it with sliced strawberries and chocolate sauce
Note: these pancakes brown very quickly, keep the flame low and let it cook through and flip
