Apple Pie


  • for the crust:
  • 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup vegan spread (we used @earthbalance)
  • 3 tbs of raw coconut oil
  • 2 tsp of coconut sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • for the filling:
  • 4 red apples (cored and sliced thinly)
  • 1/2 tsp of ginger
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbs of vegan spread


  1. For crust:

  2. In a large bowl combine all ingredients for crust

  3. Mix and knead til dough forms

  4. Next preheat oven to 400°, on a standard pie dish greased line pie dish with dough leaving half set aside

  5. Now in a separate bowl combine all ingredients for filling stir well, until apples are evenly coated and spread has melted into mixture

  6. Place filling into pie dish, now use the other half of the dough to line the edges or stripes or whatever pattern you desire (we did leaves)

  7. Once finished place in oven for 45 minutes

  8. Remove and allow to cool for about 15 to 20 minutes, garnish with cinnamon and enjoy???? #threebunnies
