Grape Galette

Ingredients

  • spelt flour - 2 cups
  • olive oil - 1/4 cup / or Margarine
  • pinch of salt
  • water - 3/4 cup or as needed
  • sugar - 3tbsp
  • grapes - 2 cups
  • raw Sugar - 4tbsp
  • ginger powder- 1tsp
  • cinnamon powder- 1tsp
  • cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1tsp

Preparation

  1. Place the flour, sugar , salt , oil and mix them together making a crumbly texture, you can use food processor with the blade attached too to combine but I used my hands. ✒Add water little bit at a time and make dough . Once the dough is ready cover it with a cling wrap and keep it in the fridge for atleast half an hour while you prepare your filling

  2. You can choose to slice grapes or leave it as it is , Wash and mix all the ingredients together, cover it with a lid and leave it for half an hour to let all the spices to get infused

  3. Take the dough out of the fridge, Take a baking paper , biggest sheet and sprinkle it with the flour and start rolling your dough into a circle. If it doesn't come out perfect , falls apart don't worry. ✒

  4. Top galette with Grape mixture and sprinkle some extra raw sugar on top , Fold the edges . Bake it for 30 to 40 minutes on 180° or until it get nice golden brown color .( preheated oven for 15mintutes earlier) ✒ Enjoy this with your favorite icecream or coconut whipped cream
