Beer Crust Pizza

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour ⁣
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder ⁣
  • 1 teaspoon salt ⁣
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper + any other preferred seasonings⁣
  • 12 oz. light beer ⁣

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees

  2. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix

  3. Lowly pour the beer in while mixing with a wooden spoon

  4. Mix it really well. The dough will be sticky, but this is okay

  5. Sprinkle flour on a clean surface and dump the dough onto surface

  6. Add a bit more flour to prevent the dough from sticking to the surface

  7. Knead dough for 4-5 minutes until nice and really pliable

  8. Shape it into a ball and keep as one to make a larger pizza, or divide into two to make 2 thinner pizzas

  9. Grease your pizza pan or use a pizza stone, Roll the dough out into a circle (or oval like i did) and brush the entire crust with a bit of olive oil

  10. Add your toppings and bake for 12-6 minutes until golden brown all around and cheese is bubbling
