Homemade Vegan Pizza with 5-Ingredient Dough

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1.5 cups rolled oats, blended into flour
  • pinch of sea salt and garlic seasoning salt
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp water

Toppings

  • vegan pesto (from Trader Joe's)
  • sliced crimini mushrooms
  • vegan chicken tenders pieces (from Lightlife Foods)
  • broccolini
  • sliced fresh garlic
  • fresh arugula and basil

Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients together to make a super sticky soft dough.

  2. Divide the dough into as many pizzas as desired.

  3. Wet hands thoroughly to spread the dough into thin crusts and roll up the sides 1/4 inch to form a crust.

  4. Top with your favorite toppings.

  5. Bake at 375F for 30 minutes, adding fresh arugula and basil in the last 5 minutes of baking time.

Notes

  1. The crust may turn out crumbly with a buttery flavor and biscuit-like texture.

  2. It may not hold up the toppings well, so consider eating with a fork and knife.
