Salad

Ingredients

  • bottom to top
  • handful spinach
  • 1cup basmati rice
  • cranberries
  • cashewnuts
  • red pepper
  • greenpepper
  • peas
  • mango chopped
  • green beans
  • carrots
  • yellow bell pepper ( 2 cups of all vegetables )
  • garlic flakes 4 to 5
  • coconut oil 3to 4 tsp
  • curry leaves few
  • turmeric powder 2 pinches
  • onions chopped
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/ 2 tsp himalayan pink salt
  • basmati rice with tumeric stir fried in curry leaves
  • garnished with onions and grapefruit

Preparation

  1. To start with i chopped all the vegetables in small cubes along with garlic onions and kept it aside ? take a thick bottom pan and put oil when it is hot add mustard seeds and when mustard starts popping add curry leaves chopped garlic and half portion of vegetables with salt and stir fry it for atleast 5 mints and stir it till it mix well ? with yellow rice you have to do the same the only change is while adding curry leaves you will also add turmeric powder to it for nice yellow color and flavour ? let the rice cool down before layering

  2. As you can see i layered it with cranberries and cashewnuts and onions seperately

  3. But if you want to you can add these ingredients while you cook rice won't make much of a difference in the taste ? we can add grapefruit to make it more tangy in taste just a squeeze while eating will do ? have fun making this indian flavored salad jar ??
