Vegan Big Dog and Fries

Ingredients

  • 600g of @omnifoods.uk mince (Omni pork sausages)
  • Just under 3 packs of vegan sausage skins (28mm)
  • 30g sage and onion stuffing (dried)
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic puree
  • 2 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp dried cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp trex
  • 1/2 tbsp @filippoberio_uk extra virgin olive oil
  • @morrisons finger roll
  • Fried onions
  • @heinz_uk no added sugar tomato ketchup
  • @colmansuk mustard

Preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 600g of @omnifoods.uk mince with sage and onion stuffing (30g, dried), 1 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic puree, 2 tsp dried sage, 1/2 tsp dried cumin, 1/2 tbsp trex, and 1/2 tbsp @filippoberio_uk extra virgin olive oil. Mix everything gently until well combined.

  2. Pass the mixture through a mincer/sausage attachment on a stand mixer to create sausage shapes. Use vegan sausage skins (28mm) to encase the mixture. Make various sizes of sausages as desired.

  3. Pan fry the vegan sausages until they are cooked through and have a golden-brown exterior.

  4. Serve the cooked sausages in @morrisons finger rolls. Top with fried onions, @heinz_uk no added sugar tomato ketchup, and @colmansuk mustard.
