Ingredients

  • 1 cup rinsed red lentils
  • 3-1/2 to 4 cups water (or according to packet directions)
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 small diced yellow or red onion
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-3/4 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • salt to taste
  • 3/4 cup whole-wheat or all-purpose or gluten-free flour
