Energizing Red Smoothie with Fruits and Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 slices of frozen pineapple
  • heap of washed kale
  • 1/4 of a largish beet
  • handful blackberries
  • coconut water
  • 1/4 cup of coconut milk

Preparation

  1. Blend the frozen banana, frozen pineapple slices, washed kale, quarter of a beet, and blackberries with coconut water until smooth.

  2. Pour the mixture into a jar.

  3. Swirl in 1/4 cup of coconut milk.

  4. Note that adding coconut milk at the end enhances the flavor significantly.
