Homemade Chicken Broth with Fresh Vegetables and Herbs

Ingredients

  • raw chicken
  • apple cider vinegar
  • onions
  • garlic
  • carrots
  • celery
  • bay leaf
  • unrefined salt and pepper
  • fresh thyme
  • parsley stems

Preparation

  1. Simmer the ingredients at low heat for 2 hours.

  2. Remove the chicken and allow it to cool slightly.

  3. Remove the meat from the chicken and store it in a glass bowl in the refrigerator.

  4. Put the bones back into the pot and continue simmering for a few more hours.

  5. Strain the liquid to obtain the broth.

  6. Use the broth for making soups, sauces, or consume it on its own.

  7. Note that chicken broth strengthens digestive and immune health.
