Indian-Spiced Potato Pizza

Ingredients

  • @eatbanza’s crust for 2 pizzas
  • 4-5 small potatoes
  • 1/2 cup canned chickpeas
  • Cilantro mint chutney
  • Date tamarind chutney
  • Vegan cheese
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Chopped onions
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Sev

Spices

  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2-1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp amchur powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water for 25-30 minutes or until fork tender.

  2. Let potatoes cool slightly, then peel, mash with a fork, and add all the spices.

  3. Air fry the mashed potato mixture for 8 minutes at 380°F or bake in the oven for about 16 minutes.

  4. Toss the canned chickpeas with chaat masala, ground cumin, salt, and pepper.

  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  6. Spread green chutney on the pizza crust.

  7. Add the prepared potato mixture, vegan cheese, and chickpeas on top of the crust.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

  9. Top with chutneys, pomegranate seeds, chopped onions, cilantro, and sev.
