Mac No Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butternut squash, steamed
- 1/2 small onion
- 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup unsalted cashews, soaked
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 3 tbs nutritional yeast
- 1 tbs fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/4 tsp mustard
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Preparation
Sauté the onions and garlic in a pan until fragrant
In a high speed blender, blend the steamed butternut squash, sautéd onions and garlic, cashews, and almond milk
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend again
Add the sauce to cooked pasta and any veggies you have in your fridge and enjoy
