Morning Metabolism Boost Drink

Ingredients

  • 1 piece ginger (about the size of your finger), plus more if desired
  • 500 ml filtered water
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • pinch cayenne, to taste
  • 1/2 lemon

Preparation

  1. Slice the ginger into thin slices and add to a water jug. Pour in the filtered water and add the cinnamon stick. Place in the fridge to steep overnight.

  2. In the morning, juice half a lemon and pour it into a cup. Add the apple cider vinegar and 1 to 2 ounces of the infused water. Optionally, add more water to dilute if too strong. Add a pinch of cayenne to taste.
