Iced Ginger Honey Lemon Tea
Ingredients
- 4 inches peeled and chopped ginger
- lemon zest from 1 lemon
- 2-3 black teabags (e.g., Trader Joe's Black Mango tea)
- honey or other sweetener
- juice from 1 lemon
Preparation
Boil 4 inches of peeled and chopped ginger and lemon zest from 1 lemon in a large pot of water.
Cover and steep for 30-45 minutes.
Add 2-3 black teabags and steep for 4 more minutes.
Pour the mixture through a strainer.
Once it cools a bit, add sweetener (such as honey) and juice from the lemon.
Enjoy the refreshing, lemony, spicy drink that is energizing and good for digestion due to ginger and lemon.
