Bacon Wrapped Maple Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 lb brussels sprouts
- 1 lb bacon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Coat the brussels sprouts with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
Cut the bacon in half lengthwise to make long, thin strips.
Wrap each bacon strip around a brussels sprout and secure with a toothpick (soak toothpicks for 10 minutes beforehand).
Bake the bacon-wrapped brussels sprouts for 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup and balsamic vinegar.
Pour the maple syrup mixture over the brussels sprouts.
Continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
