Creamy Vegan Lemon Cashew Sauce for Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 dl cashews
  • 2 dl water
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Juice from 1/3 lemon (2-3 tbsp)
  • Zest from half a lemon (1 tsp)
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Soak the cashews in hot water for 10 minutes.

  2. Add the cashews and the rest of the ingredients to a blender.

  3. Mix until you have a smooth sauce.

  4. Blend for a few minutes to achieve perfect consistency.
