Banana Bread Overnight Oats Recipe 🍌💛
Ingredients
- 1/2 ripe & spotty banana 🍌
- 40g porridge oats 🥣
- Cinnamon (and nutmeg if desired)
- Chia seeds
- Hemp seeds
- 30g salted caramel protein powder (or vanilla)
- Water
- Coconut oil
- Cacao nibs 🍫
- Raisins
- Almond butter 🥜
Preparation
In a bowl, mash 1/2 a ripe & spotty banana 🍌.
Add 40g of porridge oats 🥣, a dash of cinnamon (and nutmeg if desired), a sprinkle of chia seeds and hemp seeds, 30g of salted caramel protein powder (vanilla works too), and enough water to cover 💦.
Stir the mixture well and leave it in the fridge overnight or for a few hours until the oats are soft and set ❄️.
Take the mixture out of the fridge and top it with your favorite toppings! For caramelized banana topping: cut the remaining half of your banana down the center, heat a teaspoon of coconut oil in a pan, fry the banana until it caramelizes for a few minutes ♨️. Add more hemp seeds, cacao nibs 🍫, raisins, and smooth almond butter 🥜.
