Teriyaki Stir Fry with Brown Rice
Ingredients
- smoked tofu
- broccoli
- mushrooms
- spinach
- chickpeas
- brown rice
- sesame seeds
Sauce
- soy sauce
- teriyaki sauce
- maple syrup
- liquid smoke
Preparation
Cook the brown rice according to package instructions.
Fry the tofu for about 5 minutes on each side until brown and crispy, then set aside.
Cut the vegetables into bite-size pieces and sauté in oil or water until slightly softened and colored.
Add the spinach, chickpeas, and sauce, then cook until the spinach is wilted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Serve over the cooked brown rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
