Perfectly Toasted Bread
Ingredients
- 2-3 ripe avocados
- 1 tablespoon meyer lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 small loaf sourdough bread, cut into 1-inch slices
- 1 watermelon radish, sliced into 1/8-inch slices, then quartered
- microgreens, for garnish
- black sesame seeds, for garnish
- extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
- flaked sea salt (optional)
Preparation
Cut avocados in half and remove pits
Scoop avocado flesh into bowl, add meyer lemon juice and salt, then mash until consistency is smooth, but still a bit chunky
Toast bread to your liking, using your method of choice
Use fork to spread avocado onto toasted bread
Top each with sliced watermelon radish, microgreens and black sesame seeds
Drizzle with olive oil and top with flaked sea salt
Serve immediately
