Spicy Mexican Tempeh Tacos

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil or oil of choice
  • 2 cups of crumbled tempeh
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons of hot Mexican style chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon of cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon of liquid smoke
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in a pan on medium-low heat and cook for 7-10 minutes or until golden.

  2. Serve with Avocado Basil Dip and some warm tortillas.
