Coffee Cookies with Chocolate Glaze
Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 150 g butter
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tsp instant coffee powder and 1 tbsp sugar dissolved in 40 ml hot water
- 1 cup dark chocolate glaze
Preparation
Dissolve the instant coffee and sugar in hot water and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar.
Add the butter and egg yolks to the dry ingredients and combine to form a dough.
Incorporate the cooled coffee mixture into the dough until well blended.
Shape the dough into small cookie forms.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes or until firm.
Melt the dark chocolate glaze according to package instructions.
Dip the cooled cookies into the melted glaze and allow to set.
