Coffee Cookies with Chocolate Glaze

Ingredients

  • 300 g flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tsp instant coffee powder and 1 tbsp sugar dissolved in 40 ml hot water
  • 1 cup dark chocolate glaze

Preparation

  1. Dissolve the instant coffee and sugar in hot water and set aside to cool.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar.

  3. Add the butter and egg yolks to the dry ingredients and combine to form a dough.

  4. Incorporate the cooled coffee mixture into the dough until well blended.

  5. Shape the dough into small cookie forms.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes or until firm.

  7. Melt the dark chocolate glaze according to package instructions.

  8. Dip the cooled cookies into the melted glaze and allow to set.
