Double Chocolate Donuts with Hazelnuts
Ingredients
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 140 ml oat milk
- 100g coconut sugar
- 120g spelt flour
- 50g cacao powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 50g dark chocolate
- Handful of crushed hazelnuts
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.
Blend up kidney beans, oat milk and sugar until smooth.
Add your flour, cacao powder, cinnamon and baking powder into a large mixing bowl and give it a good stir.
Pour your wet ingredients into the dry and mix until evenly combined.
Add your batter into a silicone donut tin and bake for about 15 minutes.
Take them out of the oven and let them cool in the tin before placing them onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
Melt down your dark chocolate, coat your donuts generously in melted chocolate and sprinkle some crushed hazelnuts on top.
