German Cheesecake Muffins Without Crust
Ingredients
- 500 g low-fat quark
- 130 g sugar
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 200 g heavy cream
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
- butter, for greasing
Toppings
- 100 g mixed berries
- powdered sugar, for dusting
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180°C (convection: 160°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
Mix quark, sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest until smooth. Add cream, oil, and pudding powder and mix.
Spread the quark mixture evenly into the 12 muffin cups. Top with berries if desired and bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool.
Remove the muffins from the tin. Garnish with berries if desired and dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
Tips
Frozen berries can be used without thawing.
