Crispy Baked Teriyaki Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 package extra firm tofu
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos (can substitute soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tbsp tapioca flour (can substitute cornstarch)
- Sprinkle of salt and pepper
- Broccoli (amount as desired)
- Olive oil for greasing and tossing
Preparation
Press the tofu for 20 minutes using a cloth and heavy plates.
Cut the tofu into cubes and marinate in a mixture of the other ingredients.
Let the tofu soak in the marinade for about 30 minutes.
Bake on a greased baking sheet at 400°F for 15 minutes, then flip and bake for another 15 minutes.
Toss broccoli with salt, pepper, and olive oil, and bake on the same pan along with the tofu.
