Crispy Oven-Baked Potato Wedges

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized yellow potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425ºF/220ºC.

  2. Scrub and wash potatoes well and pat dry.

  3. Cut potatoes into wedges, about 8-10 per potato, and toss with 2 tablespoons olive oil to coat, reserving 1 tablespoon for the pan.

  4. In a small bowl, stir together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

  5. Sprinkle the mixture over the oiled potato wedges and toss to coat.

  6. Prepare a baking sheet with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil.

  7. Arrange potato wedges skin-side down on the baking sheet. If some fall over, it's okay.

  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are crisp and golden and sides are golden.

  9. Remove from heat and serve.

Tips

  1. Feel free to sprinkle a little extra salt after baking.
