Italian Beef Rolls with Prosciutto and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 beef slices
  • 8 slices of cooked ham
  • 16 slices of scamorza cheese
  • 8 sage leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • half a glass of white wine
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

  1. Lay out the beef slices and top each with a slice of ham, two slices of cheese, and a sage leaf, then roll up and secure with toothpicks.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the garlic, cooking until fragrant.

  3. Add the rolls and brown them on all sides.

  4. Pour in the white wine, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the meat is done and the sauce reduces.

  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
