Peanut Butter S’mores Crispy Treats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut or seed butter
  • 3 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup mini vegan marshmallows, i used dandies
  • 1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate bar

Preparation

  1. Line a 8”x8” square baking dish with parchment paper

  2. Heat maple syrup and nut or seed butter of choice in a medium non stick saucepan over low heat

  3. Stir until well combined

  4. Add crisp rice cereal and stir again until well coated

  5. Press into lined baking dish well

  6. Press marshmallows and chopped chocolate bar into the top of the crispy treats

  7. Broil on low for 1-3 minutes until marshmallows are just brown

  8. Remove from oven and cool

  9. I like to place in the freezer to get extra firm before cutting into squares

  10. Store in fridge or freezer
