Rice Mold with Meat

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 500 grams ground meat
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon mixed spices
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Peas

  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 4 cups peas
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Rice

  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  1. Sauté cashews and almonds in ghee and corn oil until golden brown.

  2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan and cook until softened.

  3. Stir in ground meat, mixed spices, salt, and black pepper, and cook until meat is browned and fully cooked.

  4. In a separate pan, sauté minced garlic, then add peas, black pepper, and salt, and cook until peas are tender.

  5. Heat corn oil in a pot, add rice, and stir for one minute.

  6. Pour in chicken broth, add salt, turmeric, and paprika, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until rice is cooked.

  7. Layer the meat mixture, peas, and rice in a mold, press firmly, and chill or serve warm.
