Traditional Arabic Meat Kabsa

Ingredients

  • 1 liter packet of KDD Maraq
  • 1 tablespoon corn oil
  • 500 grams chopped meat
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spices
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups rice

Preparation

  1. In a pot, heat the oil and add the meat, cardamom, cinnamon, mixed spices, salt, and pepper; stir for a few minutes.

  2. Add KDD Maraq and 3 cups of water; cook the meat on medium heat for an hour.

  3. Add the rice, stir to mix, then cover and cook for 30 minutes until the rice is done.
