Traditional Arabic Meat Kabsa
Ingredients
- 1 liter packet of KDD Maraq
- 1 tablespoon corn oil
- 500 grams chopped meat
- 1 teaspoon cardamom
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups rice
Preparation
In a pot, heat the oil and add the meat, cardamom, cinnamon, mixed spices, salt, and pepper; stir for a few minutes.
Add KDD Maraq and 3 cups of water; cook the meat on medium heat for an hour.
Add the rice, stir to mix, then cover and cook for 30 minutes until the rice is done.
