Turkish Black-Eyed Pea Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh black-eyed peas
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tomatoes
  • Half bunch parsley
  • 1 teaspoon pepper paste
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • 1 cup hot water

Preparation

  1. Cook the pepper paste in olive oil, add the hot water, and boil for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Arrange the black-eyed peas, potatoes, onion, tomatoes, and parsley in the pressure cooker.

  3. Add the sauce mixture on top and cook in the pressure cooker for about 15 minutes or until done.

Tips

  1. Before serving, add a little more olive oil for extra flavor.
