Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients

Mug cake

  • 3 tbsp all-purpose wholegrain flour (or regular plain flour/gluten-free flour)
  • 3 tbsp agave syrup (or use maple syrup)
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 dates
  • 1 tbsp vegan butter
  • 4 tbsp oat milk

Serving

  • Vegan 'milk' chocolate

Preparation

  1. Blend the dry ingredients first.

  2. Add the oat milk, vegan butter and the dates (cut fresh dates in small pieces. This is optional but gives some extra texture/sweetness).

  3. Microwave for 30-60 seconds (very fudgy for 30 secs and more solid for 60 secs). Enjoy!
