Crispy Hazelnut Sweet Potato Fries with Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

Sweet potato fries

  • 1-2 large purple sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup hazelnut flour
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • cumin to taste
  • pink sea salt to taste
  • 12 spice mix to taste

Roasted red pepper sauce

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp chopped orange habanero pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • sea salt to taste

Preparation

Baking

  1. Toss cut fries with oil, flour, and seasoning until coated well.

  2. Lay flat on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 34 minutes or until crispy and browned.

  3. Option to turn them halfway through.

Sauce

  1. In a skillet, add oil, garlic and peppers and toss for about 2 minutes.

  2. Transfer to a food processor and purée.
