Loaded Sweet Potato Fries with Garlic Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

  • sweet potatoes
  • olive oil
  • sea salt
  • pepper
  • paprika
  • 1/3 cup tahini, well-stirred
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4-5 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne powder (optional)
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut sweet potatoes into matchsticks (no need to peel).

  2. Toss in olive oil, sea salt, pepper, and paprika.

  3. Bake on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper at 450F (232C) for 25-30 minutes.

  4. Whisk together tahini, minced garlic (or garlic powder), lemon juice, and water until combined.

  5. Add water a tablespoon at a time, whisking until sauce reaches desired consistency.

  6. Add ground cumin, cayenne powder (optional), salt, and black pepper to taste.
